Reminder that Scouts and volunteers need to be at Hawkeye Park on Sunday at 2 pm and the participants will be showing up at 3 pm. After the Derby is done we will be staying at the Park for the Troop Meeting and pizza will be served for supper after the long day.

We've got a lot going on at this Sunday's meeting.  Adults - if you are able to attend, Scoutmaster Banh will be discussing with us the Fishing Derby next week and needed adult participation.

If your Scout is 16+ and will be fishing at the Troop Fishing Derby next week, they will need a fishing license if they don't have one already.  If they just intend to assist the participants but not actually fish, then the license is not needed.

The Multisport Duathlon will be taking place on Sunday, September 14th at 3 pm and we will be meeting at the Senior Center to kick off the event.

If your Scout is participating, please ensure that they bring their merit badge worksheet/training plan, their bike, bike helmet and running shoes.

The September Camp Out is fast approaching, since we will be canoeing during the weekend, we need sign up finalized as soon as you are able.  This will ensure that we have enough canoes for our participants.  Also, if parents have some free time on the Saturday of the Camp Out your assistance would be appreciated.  Because the Scouts and some adults will be canoeing, we will need additional adults available to do drop off and pick up of participants at the start and stop locations and for transportation to the river.  Please let Scoutmaster Banh know if you are able to assist with transportation.
