Please have Scout(s) review what Troop positions they might be interested in. If a Scout is needing a leadership position for rank advancement, they should take this into account when they are looking at their possible positions. For advancing to Star, Life, and Eagle the Scout needs to be in a qualified leadership role for a specific amount of time before they are eligible for advancement.

Thursday nights the Ankeny HyVee on North Ankeny Blvd is steak night, the Troop has requested to work several of these nights this Fall.  This is an excellent fundraising opportunity for our Scout families.  Specific dates will be listed on the Troop Facebook page and they are on a first come first serve basis to sign up.

Our annual Popcorn Fundraiser is coming up.  If your Scout(s) would like to participate, please get in contact with Scoutmaster Banh to let her know approximately how much popcorn you hope to sell.

Next Sunday, August 2nd is Keagan's Court of Honor at 3 pm and our Troop Meeting will start at the regular 6:30. 

At the meeting we will be covering meal prep for the August camp out, Troop elections and rank advancement.
