The February Camp Out at Mitigwa is scheduled for February 20-22nd.  Scouts should have the ability to get some polar points if they camp outside and this is one of the last opportunities for Scouts to get camping nights awarded for either eligibility for OA or for requirements for merit badges.

Next PLC and Committee meetings will be January 25.  PLC starts at 5 and Committee at 6.  This is a great opportunity for Scouts to have input in what the Troop is planning for the upcoming months.

Carter's Eagle Project work day is January 25th from 2 to 4 pm at the Kirkendall Library Meeting Room A.  If you are able to assist with putting together backpacks with items for children impacted by foster services, your help would be greatly appreciated.

No meeting this weekend since there is no school for Ankeny.  See you all next week.

We are slowly getting more information about Many Point for this summer.  Early March is the leadership meeting for Summer Camp and after that meeting we will have all the specifics needed.  This link has the 2025 information but we don't expect much will be changed for 2026.  www.manypoint.org 

Lots of stuff going on at the February 1 meeting.  Troop elections will be going on as well discussion/planning for merit badges for the Troop to work on this year.
