No Scouts Sunday night! Enjoy your last day of Summer Break and have a great school year everyone!

The September Camp Out sign up is September 18-20.  Please sign your Scout up so we can get firm numbers on how many canoes are needed and how many vehicles will be needed for canoe and Scout transport to and from the river.  

Next week is August Court of Honor, we will be starting at 6:00 pm and it will be a potluck. The Troop will be supplying drinks and the main dish (the Scouts decided on walking tacos). Please bring sides and/or desserts to share.  See you there!

The new school year is starting up and there are several merit badges and activities that Scouts can work on.  The Scholarship and Reading Merit Badges are easily accomplished and we have Merit Badge Counselors for them in the Troop.  Scouts can also work on the Interpreter Strip with their foreign language teacher. 

The Troop is working on finding a location for any of our Scouts to try the mile swim.  Completion of this activity earns a badge and it is a required activity for accomplishing the Aquatics section of the National Outdoor Award.
