Troop 182 is located in Ankeny, Iowa. We are chartered by Ankeny United Methodist Church and have been
building character, leadership, citizenship and physical fitness since 1968. During this time, over 120 scouts have achieved
the highest rank in Scouting, Eagle Scout.
The troop is Scout led. That is to say, the boys lead the troop with the support of trained adults. Scouting is a place
to reach for goals, and occasionally fail, in a safe environment.
